Fabric Covered Thumb Tacks

Tonight while I was hanging out in my craft room, I decided to whip up some fabric covered thumb tacks with a bit of Alexander Henry fabric I scored at Joanne's the other day. I got the idea from this post at Jessica Jones' How About Orange.

They'll be really handy for my friend's cubicles at work! :)

Oh man, that's such a good idea, I could use these at work! I wish I didnt live so far from everything, so if I suddently decided I wanted to do something creative, I have to drive half an hour to get materials, hehe.

Btw, I went by that craft-o-rama store and talked to them a little bit, they're really nice! I'm definitely gonna be taking some classes with them! :)

Oh I know! I love going there. :) Hayley's great!

About the materials, planning ahead is not a bad thing. I end up overspending on materials at a whim. I need to start stash busting.

Oh, if anyone else is in Austin, visit www.austincraftorama.com. You won't be dissappointed.

Very cool. I need to make some fabric covered buttons, I guess I could probably use the same method...

Well, they're actually buttons, with the button part removed. :)
